Statistics shows that about 75% of the people working today are unhappy with their current jobs. One reason is that their talents are wasted because it is not applicable for their current jobs.

That’s just one problem. You might have unreasonable demands placed upon you. You have to work really long hours to get anywhere. The paths to promotion may be blocked. You can’t get to where you want to be because of the view that people have of you, your experience, or your performance in the job.

Maybe a little self-improvement will help you out with that problem. You should know how to appreciate your job if you want to succeed in life.

If you are always late to your job, maybe it will become the reason for your termination. Why don’t you try to wake up early or if you’re always experiencing traffic, try to find other route. Self-improvement of your habits will help you succeed.

There might be criticism leveled against you that isn’t just. There could be too much politics or backstabbing, you have to grease the right palms to get ahead. The job may just not be what you expected. You were promised one thing, but it turned into something else.

One thing that you should do about backstabbing is always retain your temper at the right level. Don’t try to argue with your officemates of it will be another reason for firing you.

“Oh, I’m not happy.” Well, why? “Because I got passed for a promotion.” Why was that? “Because they didn’t value the project I was working on.” Why not? “Because management changed and they changed the objectives.” Well, why was that? You really sort of drill down to the root cause and find out what the problem really is.

Once you decide that you need a change – that’s where the real fun begins. How to go about finding a new job or change careers completely.

There’s another way of looking at, the Top Ten Signs That You Need a New Job. It’s a bit like a Letterman Top Ten. They’re a bit tongue-in-cheek, but there’s a bit of truth in all of them.

Now the first question that might rise up is, why would I go there, only to pitch my business?

But my answer to you….

Why go to pitch your business, why not go to answer a problem for someone else’s business.  The same rules apply offline as online.

This morning I went to a pretty upscale networking meeting of CPA’s, the thing is that not only do CPA’s attend but the group is open to all classes of people, and there were some closet MLMers there as well.

When I introduced myself,  I went into my Life Success mode and presented concepts that people were pretty much in the dark about,  but when I talked about the potential of teaching their salesforce of prospecting and closing, it blew their minds. Well,  before I could sit down people were asking me for my card and telling me that they want to sit down and talk to me about their individual business.  I am going to talk to them about that but for now,  just think of the value that they feel I will bring them and how I could potentially help them. A high school drop out, abandoned by his mother and not having a relationship with his father, talking and consulting community business people.?………

I don’t know about you and I don’t know where you are, but I know this, we really cannot excuse ourselves for not reaching higher than we are today(though we justify our excuses). People need you, I don’t care if you are broke sick and unhappy,  the truth is if you get up and lead your life the world will start to take notice and you will be a help to someone else who deals with some of the same excuses, but if you don’t, what will happen to the people you were suppose to talk to and lead??

Read up on Abraham Lincoln’s failures and tell me that he would have been better off quitting.  What would have happened to the minorities who were afflicted and persecuted?

They would have had to wait unfortunately for someone else.

At one time a friend of mine who is a store manager for McDonald’s, asked me if I would come and help him get a store up and running, says he needed good help.  I came back with well I don’t plan on being there long, so please don’t count on me for long term care, now I am not too proud to work but at the same time my mind was moving into the industry that I am now in, I thought well it would help him and I could make some money … well … on second thought I’ll look at it as helping.

As soon as I got there my intuitive factor engaged and when that happens I begin to read a room and I start looking for leaders.  I don’t know why that happens and I don’t think that it only happens to me, but anyway.

As I start hearing the people talk about their day, then their families and goes into relationships and I thought I was going to literally puke……

I got myself together and thanked God for showing me what I had missed because of working from home for the last year and a half.  I thought how sad it is to see so many people not happy with anything.  Even one of the managers was extemely negative.

After that night I figured, I have been so blessed, everything has not been easy but what a blessing everything has been to me.  Look through thankful eyes.

I told my friend that if he could change the attitude of the people then he could start that store on a 30% increase in sales before the end of the year, he asked how can I do that? I said your going to have to pay me $3000.00 dollars and in 12 weeks it will begin to change.

How can I be so confident?  I know my ability and I know the answer to his problem……

Almost no one likes to clean. The red hands, the strong fumes, the watery eyes, the headaches. There’s not much to like except the end result—a clean house. 

However, switching to alternative cleaning supplies just may change your mind. With so many quality options available today, you no longer need to ventilate the house, don rubber gloves and hide the kids just to clean.

The arguments for switching to green cleaning aren’t just a matter of environmental ethics, or making housecleaning a more pleasant experience: Harsh chemical cleaners can cause a variety of health problems and injuries as well.

Chemical-based household cleaners can be especially problematic if someone in the house suffers from asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or recurring allergies.

“People with these respiratory problems tend to be sensitive to almost anything that can irritate the airways,” says Dr. Norman H. Edelman, Chief Medical Officer for the American Lung Association. “Any cleaning supplies that give off fumes or fragrances can irritate them.”

Edelman especially warns against products containing strong-smelling chlorine or ammonia, which can trigger asthma attacks and bronchial inflammation in sensitive people. “There are safer alternatives to all these products,” he says, “so if someone in the house has a respiratory problem, why take a chance?”

Those with respiratory sensitivities aren’t the only ones who’ll want to take note. While harsh cleaning chemicals will temporarily irritate many people’s skin, there’s a much greater chance of longer-term irritation if your skin is sensitive. Some people with contact dermatitis may be allergic to one or more of the chemicals in common cleaning products.

Dr. Kristin Stevens, a dermatologist for Providence Medical Group in Portand, Ore., says contact dermatitis rashes caused by cleaning supplies may not show up on the thicker skin of the hands.  Instead, it may appear on the thinner, more delicate skin of the eyelids or neck—places we frequently touch with our hands. In addition, eczema can also be triggered by household cleaning supplies.

“If you’re predisposed to eczema or contact dermatitis anywhere on your body, it’s best to use the gentlest cleaning products you can,” says Stevens.

If you have youngsters in the house, there’s even more incentive to get rid of those chemical cleaners. According to Dr. Erica Liebelt with the Association of American Poison Control Centers, more than 120,000 kids under the age of 6 were unintentionally exposed to household cleaning products in 2005. While many kids experienced no symptoms or mild symptoms, more serious cases led to burns of the skin, eyes, mouth, esophagus and stomach. In some cases, kids need to be on ventilators or respirators after aspirating cleaning chemicals into their lungs.

The dangers aren’t limited to children. Adults can get serious burns and even permanent eye damage when caustic agents (like toilet, tub, oven, and drain cleaner) come in contact with skin, eyes, and mucus membranes.

Not only are some of these cleaning chemicals dangerous, they might also be overkill. According to Mike Watson, Ph.D, a toxicologist at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, household cleaners labeled as disinfectants must be registered pesticides with the EPA.
